Development and delivery of a week long Core Concepts of Quality workshop. Run by London South Bank University, the London Darzi programme is a high profile programme designed to develop emerging NHS leaders’ confidence and capability in leading complex change.
I contribute to the programme in two ways:
- Coaching individual Darzi fellows around their project areas. Helping to define scope, create working improvement hypotheses and measurement plans.
- Design and delivery of modular workshop elements of the programme, by using a mix of delivery styles and simulation. Specifically around core quality and improvement concepts such as:
- Flow (including capacity detractors and failure demand)
My contribution (workshops and coaching) to the course has been positively evaluated through formal evaluation in terms of learning outcomes. It always generates huge buzz, interest and engagement and provides participants with lasting, practical frameworks and methods on which to tackle operational and leadership challenges throughout their career.
